    • Valentine, Tiebout and Ryer from 2300
    • Concourse even numbers from 2274

West of the Concourse, from 2294 north

    • Morris, Creston and Walton from 2294
    • Concourse odd numbers from 2315
  • 10453

West of the Concourse, up to 2293

    • Morris, Creston and Walton up to 2293

East 183rd Street itself takes the northern code on each side.

Nearly. Eight homes in ten are in buildings from before 1950: six-story elevator buildings near the Concourse and walk-ups on the avenues.

What should I know before booking?

Questions neighbors ask in Fordham

What ZIP code is Fordham in?

Four, split by two streets. East of the Grand Concourse, Valentine, Tiebout and Ryer avenues are 10457 up to 2299 and 10458 from 2300, which is East 183rd Street. West of the Concourse, Morris, Creston and Walton are 10453 up to 2293 and 10468 from 2294. On the Concourse itself, even numbers follow the east side and odd numbers the west.

Is Fordham Heights the same as Fordham?

The city uses both names for the same blocks between Jerome Avenue and Webster Avenue, and this page covers them. The university is not here: the Rose Hill campus, Fordham Plaza and the Metro-North station are east of Webster Avenue, in Belmont, which has its own page.

How much does a cleaning cost in Fordham?

It depends on how many rooms you have and how often we come. The plan builder starts at $0, prices each room as you add it, and shows the total before it asks for your contact details.

Do you clean the old Grand Concourse buildings?

Yes, and they are most of the work here. Of the 97 elevator buildings, 65 date from before 1950 and 73 are six stories, like 2230 and 2300 Grand Concourse from the 1930s; together the elevator buildings hold 5,426 homes. A pre-war apartment books by its rooms, and we bring what the old parquet and tile need.

And the walk-ups in Fordham?

Yes. About 240 walk-ups and three-family houses hold 5,503 homes, and 210 of those buildings date from before 1930, with Valentine, Morris, Creston and Tiebout avenues holding the most. The floor you live on does not change the price; stairs are only an extra if you want the stairwell done.

Which subway stops are in Fordham?

Three. Fordham Rd and 182-183 Sts on the B and D run under the Grand Concourse, and 183 St on the 4 is on the elevated line over Jerome Avenue. Fordham Rd on the 4, with an elevator, is a block north on Jerome, just outside the neighborhood. Our team drives in, so the stops only matter for you.

Do you clean near Fordham Road and the Paradise?

Yes. East Fordham Road is the shopping street at the north edge, with the Paradise at 2403 Grand Concourse on the corner, and the blocks right behind it, on Valentine and Marion avenues, are the pre-war buildings this page describes. They book like any other home here.
