Who sends these messages
More House Services LLC ("More House") is a residential and commercial cleaning company based at 2151 Tomlinson Avenue #3, Bronx, NY 10461, serving The Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island. Our website is https://morehousellcny.com.
Customer care: support@morehousellcny.com. Every text we send opens with the words More House Services, so you always know who is writing to you.
This page describes our text messaging program end to end: where consent is collected, the exact words shown on screen at that moment, what we send afterwards and how to stop. It is public. No account, no login and no purchase is needed to read it, or to reach either of the two forms described below.
What we send, and how often
We send three kinds of text messages, and only two of them are automatic:
- Service messages, tied to a cleaning or a quote you already asked for: one-time sign-in codes, booking confirmations, appointment reminders, a notice when the team is on the way, a notice when the work is finished, a failed-payment notice and a plan renewal notice.
- Customer care replies: if you text us a question about your plan, your quote, scheduling, access to the property or pricing, we text you back.
- Promotional messages, seasonal offers and cleaning tips, and only if you checked the separate optional box described below.
Message frequency varies. Service messages run at roughly 2 to 5 messages per scheduled cleaning. If you opted in to promotional texts, expect no more than 4 promotional messages per month.
Message and data rates may apply. More House does not charge you for text messages. Your mobile carrier may.
Where consent is given
There are exactly two places where we collect a phone number, and both are web forms on our own public website. There is no keyword opt-in, no paper form, no purchased list and no third-party lead source. We never add a number to our messaging program unless it was typed into one of these two forms by the person who owns it.
If you write to us first, by text or from a form, we answer you. Starting a conversation is not a subscription: an inbound message gets a reply about what you asked, and never puts your number on the promotional list. Only the optional checkbox below does that.
Both forms work the same way: a required checkbox for the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and below it a separate, optional checkbox for promotional texts. Both start unchecked. Neither is ever pre-selected, and the promotional one is never required to book, to pay or to get a quote.
Path 1: the residential plan form
- Open https://morehousellcny.com.
- In the plans section, press Build my plan on the "For Homes" card.
- Build a plan in "Build your own plan", then press Build & subscribe.
- The panel that opens starts with Your info: full name, email, phone number and service address. Directly under the phone field, before anything is submitted, this notice is shown: "We text you about your cleaning: confirmation, reminder and arrival notice. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
- Under the address fields are the two checkboxes, in the wording quoted in the next section. The required one has to be checked to move on to payment. The promotional one can be left unchecked and the booking still goes through.
Path 2: the commercial quote form
- Open https://morehousellcny.com.
- In the plans section, press Contact us on the "For Business" card.
- The "Let's talk commercial cleaning" panel opens in place, with fields for company, name, email and phone.
- The same two checkboxes sit above the Get my free quote button, in the wording quoted below. The required one has to be checked to send the request. The promotional one is optional and changes nothing about the quote.
The exact wording you agree to
These are the checkboxes, word for word, as they appear on screen. They are printed here from the same source the forms are drawn from, so this page cannot drift from what a customer actually sees. The date, the phone number and this exact text are stored together as the record of every consent.
The required checkbox
On a recurring plan the closing clause authorizes a repeating charge, and on a one-time cleaning it authorizes a single one. Nothing else about the sentence changes.
Required. On the commercial quote form the third wording is used. Reproduced here for reference: the live checkboxes are in the two forms described above.
The optional promotional checkbox
Separate, optional, unchecked by default, and shown directly below the required one on both forms. Marketing consent is stored as its own record and can be withdrawn on its own, without switching off the service messages about a cleaning you booked.
Optional. Leaving it unchecked has no effect on booking, on payment or on a quote. Reproduced here for reference: the live checkbox is in the two forms described above.
What the screen looks like
These three pictures were taken from the published site at https://morehousellcny.com. Nothing in them was filled in or ticked by us: this is how the forms load for anyone who opens them.
The first message you receive
The first text after a booking confirms it, and looks like this:
More House Services: cleaning confirmed Tue, Sep 8 at 10:00 AM at 1240 Ogden Ave, Bronx NY. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.
Stopping, and getting help
Reply STOP to any message and the messages stop. You get one final text confirming it:
You are unsubscribed from More House Services texts. No more messages will be sent. Reply HELP for help or email support@morehousellcny.com.
Reply HELP to any message and you get this back:
More House Services: help at support@morehousellcny.com or morehousellcny.com. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel.
You can also switch messages off from your account settings, where promotional texts and service texts are two separate switches, or write to support@morehousellcny.com and we will do it for you. Full detail in the SMS Terms and Conditions.
Your mobile number is not shared
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of information we share with anyone, and we do not use them for any purpose other than delivering the messages you asked for. The whole picture is in the Privacy Policy.
