1. Our Commitment
More House Services LLC (“More House,” “we,” “us,” “our”) is committed to making morehousellcny.com (the “Site”) usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We are working toward conforming our Site to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard most commonly referenced by regulators and courts for website accessibility.
This is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix or a guarantee. We do not claim the Site is fully accessible today. Instead, this statement explains where we stand, what we’re doing about it, and — most importantly — how to reach us if something on the Site doesn’t work for you, so we can fix it or help you another way right away.
2. What We’re Doing
- Reviewing the Site’s pages, forms, and booking flow against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria (things like keyboard navigation, color contrast, text alternatives for images, form labels, and screen-reader compatibility).
- Prioritizing fixes for the pages our customers use most: the homepage, the quote/booking flow, and account sign-in.
- Training whoever builds or edits the Site (including our outside development vendor) to keep accessibility in mind for new pages and features, not just older ones.
- Reviewing this statement and our progress periodically, and updating it as work is completed.
We don’t yet have a firm, published remediation timeline with specific dates.
3. Known Limitations
No website is perfect, and mistakes may exist that we haven’t found yet. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us (see Section 4) — you don’t need to describe it perfectly or cite a WCAG rule number. Just let us know what you were trying to do and what happened.
4. Contact Us About Accessibility
